Sin Ti

Chuckie and his wife feel that their Latino culture and specifically Spanish Novelas can sometimes be over dramatic so to make light of it they came up with a soap opera spoof called Sin Ti. This week, we filmed our first skit up at Milestone Media’s studio in Riverside. We used one of Chuckie’s songs that he recorded back in 2014 for his Latin project.

Marketing Master & More

Do you remember the new guy that I mentioned before? Well, he has been a huge blessing to me and our show. Thank you, Bryan for all that you have done and continue to do for the show. He came on as a volunteer to help out and is now a producer and officially our marketing director. He is wearing many different hats and brings a vitally important skill to the company which is organization.

Russ Reshaw

I wanted to give a quick shout out to Russ Reshaw. Russ began as simply the bass player with Bryan Duncan & Soul Furnace Band. But over time, Russ has helped out with the coordination of music, acted in some of our skits, and has shown a lot of passion for helping take our show to it’s potential. Russ is a sharp, steady-thinking, and talented guy with a good heart.

The New Guy

It’s interesting how things sometimes work out. Sometimes things come indirectly or when we aren’t really expecting or even looking. A mutual acquaintance introduced me to a fellow believer who had expressed interest in helping out with our show. I invited him to one of our production meetings to get to know him and explore a potential collaboration. Within 10 minutes of our meetings he humbly chimed in and offered to take meeting notes for

We continue to receive guidance from the Lord as it almost feel miraculous to have completed the pilot in a short time, but we have officially submitted it to the network. Pre-Production

Let’s do this! Now that we have a team, we have officially began writing sketches, storyboarding the show segments, and figuring out all that needs to happen to build a talk show. What we are trying to create is not going to be easy. If this is what the Lord wants then we will do our best to make him proud through our efforts.

Assembling The Dream Team

What’s most important in creating something successful is that you must have the right people on the team. Our team must be filled with believers who share the same vision for delivering clean comedy and family entertainment. I began hitting the phones to see who might want to jump on this crazy train with me! I first contacted my old friend Vince Foglio of Milestone Media to see if they might want to get involved.

Brainstorming Into Action

I have been discussing my views these disappointments with a friend whom worked at a television network and shared my idea for the show. Immediately, my friend invited me down to their network to meet an executive. After a brief discussion, the network requested to see the show concept. I am speechless! I can feel God’s hand on this plan so it is time to turn an idea into action.

Conception

The holidays are approaching and it is the season to cherish family more than usual. I’ve come up with a late-night talk show concept that I think can fill that blank in today’s content. The idea came from my desire to see people happy. I’ve always loved making people smile and laugh and I enjoy entertaining. God blessed me with a gift to reach people through music and to lead as a pastor, but I

Background

At this stage in my life, I am known for being a pastor and Christian music artist. I am a family man who lives to serve the Lord, my family and others. I grew up in a family with strong values and we spent our friday nights gathering around the television watching shows that we all enjoyed and laughed to. It saddens me that today’s television lacks good clean comedy and great family entertainment.
